The best russian bass, soloist of the Mariinsky Theatre Askar Abdrazakov was born on 11 July, 1969 in Ufa and graduated from conservatory of Ufa with the famous M.Murtazina. Then in Moscow A.Abdrazakov learnt with the legendary Irina Arkhipova in Moscow conservatory. In the same time he started to take part in various competitions.
Askar Abdrazakov has been awarded numerous prizes, including:
• the Glinka Competition in 1991,
• the First Prize in Pretoria International sings competition in 1994,
• the First Prize in the prestigious Chaliapin Bass Competition in Kazan in 1994,
• Grand Prix in the Callas Competition in Athens in 1995,
